Editor,
Hot potato -- a game in which the loser is stuck holding a worthless piece of paper and has to pay the sharpie who passed it to him -- is now interpreted by so-called "masters of the universe" as "distributing risk."
If I have ten worthless pieces of paper and sell each one to a greedy sucker, am I "spreading risk" or am I engaging in fraud?
