A "light regulatory" touch, justified by pie-in-the-sky lies about "competition" and "innovation," is exactly what giant corporate monopolies pay their free-market lackeys in our government for. When you hear that free-market gibberish, slap it down immediately because it is the basis not only for consumers to be brazenly ripped off, but also for just the sort of autocratic power that the rich lust after more passionately than they love money.
