Editor,
Ending minority rule is the single most important step the Senate must take if the voice of the American voting public is ever to be heard in that chamber again.
When 51 votes is not enough to pass a bill that the vast majority of Americans demand the Senate approve, representative democracy has been trumped by tyranny, and the stability of our nation is in question.
