The way gun nuts think.

Maybe all the gun nuts will have a big shoot-out, and we'll be rid of them and their guns. Until then, good luck. There are so many people in this country who believe that shooting people is how you solve problems that changing their minds is fruitless.

Remember Michael Dukakis's run for president? He was asked what he would do if he encountered a home invader in the process of violating his wife. That's the way the gun nuts think: "The boogie man is going to get you. Better carry a gun." You can't talk to them.
