Now the Americans, whose entire foreign policy rests on propping up brutal dictators so American corporations can plunder merrily, are taking credit for the explosion of democratic yearnings in the Middle East?

And George W. Bush, who loathed democracy even here in the United States, is being hailed as the harbinger of all of this?

GIVE. ME. A. BREAK.

Listen. The United States is a brutal empire that cultivates a sanctimonious face, liberated Europe in WWII and all that (mostly done by Russia, but never mind). It's time for the USA to figure out how to live in this world without stealing everybody else's freedom, labor, resources, hopes, and dreams. And that includes those of the 300 million Americans who are not billionaires.
