Editor,
When did NATO's mission change from UN Resolution 1973, protecting **civilians** from the real or imagined threat of being slaughtered, to removing Qaddafi?
Not that he should stay. But why now all of a sudden after doing business with him on and off for 32 years?
Something stinks. Especially when pro-democracy protesters are being shot down in Syria, Bahrain, Yemen, and wherever else civilians will happen to be slaughtered today by autocratic Mideast regimes the West supports or doesn't. And Gaza and the West Bank, of course, which is just about every other day.
