Americans, take note. Right-wing politics is authoritarian politics.

The function of the police in a police state is to enforce the concentration of wealth in the hands of a few thieves, to enable the theft of the wealth of a nation by 1% at the expense of the other 99%.

The function of the military in an empire is to do the same to the rest of the world.

Before they can appoint themselves dictatorial powers in a democracy, the right must lie their way into the hearts of everyman so they can be elected (or find ways to steal elections, as they did in 2000 and 2004). Then the axe falls.

Beware.
