I have been watching "The World At War" on my computer. The Russians lost 100,000 men in the battle to take Berlin alone. Tens of thousands of planes, tanks, trucks, ships, artillery pieces, etc., etc., and millions of men were required to conquer Germany in WWII.

And there are actually a band of idiots in Washington, DC, who believe they can convincingly portray al Qaeda, a ragtag gang of a few thousand medieval peasants, as an existential threat to the Western World? This idiocy must stop. The torture, the surveillance, the wars. It is all insane.
