Editor,
"Freedom of speech" and "freedom of the press" were paramount to the framers of our Constitution because they wanted to ensure that a tyrannical government could not stifle dissent in the U.S.A.
But these "freedoms" are invoked by organizations such as Faux News, hate radio, and the Supreme Court of the United States precisely to further the reach and cement the power of tyrannical corporations and the plundering rich with lies, half-truths, distortions, and emotional manipulation.
