Editor,
According to your article "Wall Street Protest Spurs Online Dialogue on Inequity" (10/9/2011): “A video showing female protesters being held back by the police is the most-viewed of the protest, according to Matt McLernon, a spokesman for YouTube.”
What this video portrays, as clear as day, is NYPD Deputy Inspector Anthony Bologna gratuitously spraying Mace, at point blank range, directly into the eyes of a handful of young women corralled by orange netting and doing absolutely nothing illegal, violent, or threatening to him or anyone else.
Why did the NYT choose not to report accurately why the video cited is the most-viewed of the protest?
