Republican Taliban.

Editor,

Religious fanatics like the Taliban and Bible-thumping Republicans assume that THEIR belief in THEIR superstitions gives them the right to dictate -- cruelly -- what OTHER people can and cannot do.

You can't reason with nut jobs enthralled by crazy religious ideas. They live in a world of imaginary ghosts. They are categorically insane.

Now I personally do not care, and our Constitution specifically protects, whatever anyone wants to believe and how anyone wants to behave in their own personal life as a consequence of their beliefs.

But when you've got people who think that their very own personal Jesus has called upon them to foist their crazy fantasies on other people, we have got a SERIOUS problem.

Religious freedom means that *I* am FREE from YOUR religion.

You're afraid of "Sharia Law?" LOOK IN THE MIRROR!

You have NO RIGHT to inflict your Bible -- and more specifically your twisted interpretation of your Bible -- on other people!

What you do with your body is your business.

What a woman does with hers is not.
