Republican vision.

The only people who matter to right-wing Republicans are the thin slice of American society who happen to be financially well-off, healthy, in their prime, and otherwise "culturally" superior.

Republicans' vision of the USA in 2012 is the vision of 18th Century French aristocrats before 1789: one man owns enormous wealth, lives in a lavish chateau on hundreds of acres of land, employs an army of servants who have no job security or benefits, and is surrounded by a sea of peasants who have no shoes and wear torn shirts.

The Republicans and their ticket have zero comprehension of what a nation is, what a government does, or how an economy works.

All they care about is owning as much money as they can by any means possible at anyone else's expense.

The irony, of course, is that they take whatever government will hand them, all the while railing against government waste, corruption, and abuse.
