That a few deep-pocketed die-hards are still pitching their fantasy economic theory to anyone who will listen does not mean that whether their economic theory is ridiculous is an open question.
Ditto creationism, corporate and fetal personhood, and the entire passal of extreme right-wing alternate-reality fever dreams.
Sanity won because craziness lost.
It is not necessary for there to be no crazy people at all for crazy theories finally to be dismissed for what they are.
If a madman on the sidewalk shouting at invisible demons were a billionaire, I swear the bloviating class would be debating seriously how who he is shouting at should respond.
