No biosphere, no economy.

This is where debate about environmental protection must begin.

Unfortunately, the people -- or worse, corporations -- that rule planet Earth live in an artificial world, both materially in terms of what they arrange around themselves and mentally in terms of the processes and values with which they define their lives.

The rulers will die last, but after the living things around us die and we die, there will be nothing left for them to plunder, and they will die.
