Gun manufacturers' lobby.

Editor,

The "gun rights" lobby is not a gun rights lobby.

It is a gun manufacturers' lobby.

"Gun rights" is the bogus banner under which gun manufacturers organize their marketing, just like cigarette manufacturers dreamed up "smokers' rights" to keep on making money while their products keep on making people die.

Corporations do not care about people's rights.

If they did, they would not spend billions to strip voters of their right to vote, workers of their right to organize, students of their right to education, citizens of their right to health care.

Corporations care about money.

And they are very clever when it comes to manipulating consumers' fantasies and fears until outraged screamers pound the table to defend their "right" to kill themselves with products that are good for nothing other than a corporation's bottom line.
