Abstractions and ideation.

The NRA is about money.

That the units moved are guns is incidental.

Gun control cannot be addressed rationally in the USA because gun marketing plays to Americans' fantasies and fears; Americans brainwashed into believing guns are necessary are beyond conversation.

It comes down to abstractions versus deaths, ideation versus reality.

Abstractions and ideation always win because they live in the mind, which is impossible to ignore. Reality is easy to ignore for a true believer.

I pray the Canadians allow me to stay here permanently.

The USA is too crazy of a place for me to feel comfortable there.
