War. War. War.

Editor,

Fear mongering works.

A never-ending drumbeat of "terrorists out to harm the United States" and authorities whose prime directive is "to make Americans safe" has millions of Americans ready to racially profile, spy on, jail, torture, or drone a bomb on anyone who someone tells them is a terrorist.

Gestapo, Stasi, Savak police states are what terrify me, and you are sitting in a front row seat to see just how abominations like these spring into existence.

Remember: 93% of the American public share 7% of the wealth.

Follow the money.

Mapping networks of political dissidents is far more valuable to the corporate state than wiping out "the terrorists."

Terrorists who are not wiped out are an excellent excuse for spying on Americans and a sure-fire route to billion-dollar weapons contracts, security contracts (Blackwater/Xe/whatever-it-is-now), and war, war, war in every corner of the globe.
