Editor,
Today the NSA is collecting every conceivable electronic communication of every person in the USA -- and every person two "hops" away (magnanimously reduced from 3 by Emperor Obama).
Tomorrow drones will have the capability to physically surveil everyone, and certainly equipment will make it impossible to hide behind walls, in cellars, or under one's bed.
So anyone who raises his or her voice in defense of workers' rights or consumers' rights or poor people's rights or anyone's rights the corporations do not care to respect -- and their friends -- can be tracked and neutralized, a perfectly sterile, propagandistically pure totalitarian nirvana for the unimaginably rich and powerful, and a hell of inescapable mental and physical enslavement for the human robots it exploits.
God help you if you have no function in the money shuffling machine.
