The right-wing propaganda machine works full-time at spewing a torrent of lies.
Refute one in a forum where people read (by definition missing 98% of the suckers imbued with an ever increasing flood of nonsense) and 100 spew forth tomorrow to take its place.
If one lie ceases to draw much of a following, drop it peremptorily and lean full-throttle on another.
In a political environment where "debate" has been reduced to inventing lies on the one hand and playing whack-a-mole to swat them down on the other -- and belief, by official sanction, now trumps fact -- ignorance is the currency on which the entire enterprise depends.
Ignorance and lies. What ever happened to truth, justice, and the American way?
