Time to Connect the Dots

Corporations are obligated by law to pursue one and only one goal: maximize quarterly profit growth, no matter what environmental damage, negligence, or social injustice achieving it entails. Corporations are not subject to democratic governance by society as a whole, and they use their enormous financial resources to buy politicians -- of every political brand -- to facilitate their rape and plunder. The United States, and to a large extent the world, is ruled by corporations. This is why enlightened policy inevitably is dropped on the floor, why destructive policies are implemented, and why the public is manipulated to desire ignorance and powerlessness.
