Editor,
I see no neighborhoods in Israel reduced to rubble by Hamas rockets. I see no dead Israeli children. I see no F-16's or tanks in the hands of Palestinians, only stones.
Israel has declared a desire for "peace and quiet" in its southern towns. These words do not express a desire for peace. To desire a conquered, humiliated, dispossessed population to submit in silence to brutal subjugation is not to desire peace.
And this desire for "peace and quiet" is Hamas's fault?
