Editor,
Who are these gun-toting paranoids afraid is going to attack them? Other gun-toting paranoids? Where does their fascination with killing people come from? What differentiates a person obsessed with "self defense" from a homicidal maniac obsessed with murdering people?
The American military has invaded, occupied, and/or virtually demolished TWO countries to "defend" ourselves from grossly exaggerated bogey-men. Why this paranoia? Why this preoccupation in American culture with killing and "defense?"
