A fool's errand.

Regulating insurance companies is a fools errand. The entire scheme is intended to pump life into a dead system: for-profit health insurance. Anthem raised their rates through the roof last week, so the president proposes regulating insurance rate increases. Look at the banks. Reacting to their last clever scheme does nothing to prevent their next. The solution is single payer. Everybody knows that, even the politicians who quake in their boots whenever it is mentioned because they are so deep in the pockets of the "health" insurance corporations they have to vote it down.
