We're dinosaurs. It was a good run. Four or five million years before capitalists so divorced human society from the life support systems on which our very existence depends that we were powerless to save ourselves. We've killed so many millions of species and destroyed so many billions of ecosystems it is no surprise that we have finally managed to kill ourselves.
