Bernie's coattails.

When Hillary Clinton was asked whether classified information was transmitted to or from her email server, she answered that she had neither sent nor received any, which probably is true. But the question was asked because it seems that her staff sent her emails containing classified information.

This is precisely the sort of technically true but actually false talk the American people are fed up with: politicians who are brands, not honest and trustworthy human beings -- precisely the kind of politician Bernie Sanders is not.

Bernie Sanders is a genuine New Deal Democrat. He doesn't represent millionaires and billionaires, and he doesn't represent a pretzel logic ideology. He represents an economic model that has been proven to work not only during FDR's administration in the 1930's, but also in the postwar years until Ronald Reagan, Margaret Thatcher, and the plutocrats decided they were fed up with sharing wealth with the working people who create it.

Bernie is going to need a similarly enlightened Congress to enact his policies. He will bring millions of disgusted people who usually do not vote to the polls. It is essential that progressive candidates are running down-ballot with him so that the entire corrupt machinery in Washington can be swept away with his coattails.
